Don’t want “thoughts and prayers” from politicians. I want action and legislation.
But it’s not going to happen. So please, no more photo-ops of Barack and Mitt bowing their heads, pretending to “feel our pain.” 
They don’t feel anything. Neither do we. Truth be told, nobody cares. If we did, we’d debate Gun Control.
The shootings have become less and less shocking. We’re desensitized. Maybe it’s a good thing. Schools, grocery stores, movie theaters, houses of worship, they’ve all become a backdrop where innocent people are treated like moving targets for unhinged gunmen.
It’s a video game, where the characters don’t come back to life. Oh, well. There’s no news here. Keep moving along. 
Please, go back to the Olympics. There’s nothing here to debate.
